YA Reading Challenge!

How fabulous is this?! Okay…I’m late to the party as I just found out about this, but I have to tell you I LOVE this idea. This is the 2010 YA Challenge hosted by J Kaye’s Blog. I love YA (young adult) books! If this is a genre you already enjoy…or one you have been meaning to check into, this reading challenge is for you.

I’ll be reading more and more YA and posting the reviews in The Cybrarian’s Book Review blog. Feel free to join in by linking over to J Kaye’s Blog.

Here’s the deal:
*Anyone can join in – you don’t need to have a blog or post reviews to participate.
*There are four levels:
--The Mini YA Reading Challenge – Read 12 Young Adult novels.
--Just My Size YA Reading Challenge – Read 25 Young Adult novels.
--Stepping It Up YA Reading Challenge – Read 50 Young Adult novels.
--Super Size Me YA Reading Challenge – Read 75 Young Adult novels.
*Audio, eBooks, traditional (hardbacks or paperbacks) all count
*No need to list your books in advance. You may select books as you go. Even if you list
them now, you can change the list if needed.
*Challenge begins January 1st through December 2010.

Okay, this is getting a late start, but I love the idea. My life is jam packed right now (like everyone else, I'm sure) but hopefully this will be the incentive to bring a little organization back into my world and more reading of this wonderful genre. Who else is in??

Hi Elizabeth!
There are so many great YA books out there. Right now I'm supporting Beverly Stowe McClure with Caves, Cannons and Crinolines which is awesome. I have also become a huge fan of the Percy Jackson series, Mockingjay is on my list, Another Faust is supposed to be good, too.
