Character Building Workshop – Archetypal characters

The free workshop for writers I have found online this week comes from Writers’ Village University. This is a fun exercise for getting to know your character. On their site they have three quizzes for you to complete regarding character building. The responses give you some insight into some of your character’s personality traits and thoughts into a specific type character by getting to know your character in an up close and personal way.

It is a fun exercise that may even inspire a story thread from a character trait you had not yet fleshed out from a particuar character.
